Dawn writes for children and young adults, fiction and non-fiction. Formerly a high school art/English teacher, she has been a Specialist Literacy Teacher for over 20 years.
Dawn loves the quirky and the heroic, often writes about animal companions and has a small robot collection
She has conducted writing workshops for children and adults all over Australia, focusing upon whatever the client needs, for both primary and secondary students.
Dawn specialises in encouraging reluctant writers. Kids and adults alike always come away excited and keen to further develop what they started.
