Vision Mission

To instill the love of reading and writing in all Australian children and enhance the literary skills of children across Australia.

Together with all the Australian community, including the three tiers of government (local, State and Federal), we will give every Australian child the opportunity to improve their reading and writing skills to reach their full potential in life.

'Oz Kids In Print'  It is a magazine which we distribute on a national basis to schools, public libraries, etc, and publish online through their website.

Its purpose is to promote and support on a national basis children’s literary talent and to provide a vehicle for children to appreciate and develop their literary skills and encourage them to continue in the art of writing, especially when they see their work published in our magazine and on our website www.ozkids.com.au

Childrens Authors, School Visits - These could be arranged by the schools through us, in order to have children’s literary workshops with our well re-known children book authors’ patrons, such as: Hazel Edwards, Paul Collins, Anna Ciddor, Libby Hathorn, Lorraine Wilson and others. These workshops provide a wonderful experience for children.

High Profile Literacy Awards - Young Australian Writers’ Awards: Each year the A.C.L.B provide high-profile national literacy awards, acknowledging young writers across Australia. Since 1999, the Young Australian Writers’ Awards has become a high-profile event promoting children’s literary that the nation can be proud of.
